Walk With
Christ Devotional - Acts Chapter 3
Acts
3:1, Peter and John were going to the temple at 9 am for prayers
3:2 when they came upon a man being carried to the Gate Beautiful, at the
temple, to beg.
3:3, when he saw Peter and John he started begging
3:4, and Peter stared at him and told him "Look at us."
3:5, So the man gave them his attention expecting to get something from them.
3:6, Then Peter said " Silver or Gold I do not have, but what I have I give
you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk."
3:7, Taking him by the right hand he raised him up: and instantly his ankles and
feet became strong.
3:8 He began to walk and leaping entered the temple with Peter and John --
Praising God,
3:9 and all the people saw him walking and Praising God,
3:10, and they took note that he was the one that sat at the Beautiful Gate
begging and they were filled with amazement at what had happened to him.
3:11, and while he was clinging to Peter and John' the people ran to them in
amazement.
3:12 But when Peter saw this he told the people, why do you wonder at this, as
if we did this by our own power or piety that we made him walk?
3:13 , The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers glorified His
servant Jesus. You handed him over to be killed, and you disowned him before
Pilate, though he had decided to let him go.
3:14, you disowned Jesus the son of God and chose a murder instead
3:15 you killed Jesus bur God raised Him from the dead. We are witness to this.
3:16 By faith in Jesus, this complete healing was given to him, as you can see.
3:17, Now brothers I know you acted in ignorance, as did your leaders .
3:18 , But the things that God foretold through the prophets, that His Christ
would suffer, He has fulfilled.
3:19 Repent and return, that your sins may be wiped clean, in order that the
Lord can refresh you.
3:20, and that He can send Jesus the Christ appointed for you,
3:21, He must remain in Heaven until the time comes for God to restore everything
as God promised long ago through His holy prophets.
3:22, For Moses said," the Lord your God will rise up for you a prophet
like me from among your own people; you must listen to everything he tells you.
3:23 Anyone who does not listen to him will be completely cut off from among his
people."
3:24, "Indeed all the prophets from Samuel on, as many as have spoken, have
foretold these days.
3:25, And you are heirs of the prophets and of the covenant God made with your
fathers, He said to Abraham," Through your offspring all peoples on earth will
be blessed."
3:26, When God raised up His servant, Jesus Christ, he sent him first to you to
bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways."
If you ever doubted the resurrection of Jesus and the coming of the Holy Spirit
look at the change in the disciples, during the trial they denied Christ, Peter
even cursed Him, they hid in the shadows afraid that they would be arrested to.
After the Coming of the Holy Spirit upon them they had the courage to step forth
for Christ and testified to what they had seen and heard, even to testifying in
the temple where they knew the priests would hear and report everything they
said about Jesus and the resurrection to their superiors.
In Matthew 26:33-34 Christ foretells what will happen at his trial.
MAY GOD BLESS YOU WITH THE ABUNDANCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AND PEACE BE YOURS
