Oct 5: Ephesians 4
In Ephesians 4: 1-3 Paul tells us to walk in a manner worthy of our calling. As believers
in Christ and children of God , with humility, patience and love for one another
preserving the unity of the Spirit in peace.
Because we are prideful our walk sometimes slows until we learn the humility needed. All things come from God our Holy Father in His time and when it is best for us. Sometimes in our
excitement in our coming to Christ so want others to have the same feelings of fulfillment
that we use our own words instead of Gods and drive that person away .Some times in our
pridefulness we cause deceptions among our selves because we can't or won't open our hearts and minds to others way of thinking ,
instead of lovingly and biblically showing them way we argue causing dissention.
Always try to remember God Loved us so much He sent His only Son to die for our sins, and Christ Loved us so much He
allowed Himself to be killed for us so we may be washed clean ,by His blood, of sin. this
unconditional love will carry us if we come to each other in love and humility.
I feel this message today is one I have to really take to heart, as from the time of my salvation my pride of being a child of God has gotten in my way.
Instead of coming to God through Christ in humility I came in pride, this caused me to stumble many times.
MAY GOD GRANT YOU PEACE AND LOVE
MAY HE BLESS YOU ABUNDANTLY

Oct 6:
In Ephesians 4: 4-6 Paul states that " There is one body and one Spirit" in this the body is ALL
believers of salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord. The Spirit, in this case, is the is the
indwelling Holy Spirit of God that we ask for everyday to guide us in our walk. In 1 Corinthians 12: 4-5 Paul tells us all gifts come to us through God .
In Ephesians 4: 5 Paul states there is one Lord = God our heavenly Father
one faith = our belief in our Salvation through Jesus Christ.
one baptism = our immersion in water and belief in Christ as our savior. When we do this we are publicly declaring ourselves as
followers of Christ.
In Ephesians 4: 5 Paul writes there is "one God and Father of all who over all and through all and in all".
As children of God we know this , as He sent His only Son to us that we might be saved.
May God bless you with the Holy Spirit in abundance that we may fulfill Gods divine
plan
GOD BLESS YOU AND HOLD YOU IN HIS ARMS.

In Ephesians 4: 7-16 Paul tells us about the gifts of Christ and their purpose. To each one of us grace is given to us
according to the measure of Christ's gift.
In 1 Corinthians 12: 4- 11 Paul tells of these Gifts and their use with love .God causes all the gifts that Christ gives to come to us through the Holy Spirit, and there are a
variety of gifts . Wisdom, knowledge, faith, healing, miracles, prophecy, distinguishing of spirits,
tongues ,and interpreters of those tongues. But one and the same Spirit gives all these gifts to each one as God wills it.
Paul said in Ephe. 4: 11 that God gave us these gifts to equip us for the work of service to build up the body of Christ.
I believe that as children of God we all need to work toward our faith in Christ so that we
recognize the Holy Spirit pushing us toward the gift God wants us to have.
I will be gone for the next 3 days but I will pick this up from Ephe. 4:12 ,in the meantime may God hold your minds and hearts close to Him.
God bless you and keep in His arms

In Ephesians 4:12 Paul tells us that all gifts given to us from God are for the building up of the body of Christ,
which is all believers in Christ,.
In ephe.4:13 he said we need to build up and teach everyone, so that they may achieve
their full growth in Christ.
In Ephe. 4:14 he states that as adults in Christ, we should not be wishy-washy in
doctrine or led astray by trickery, craftiness or deceit.
In Ephe. 4:15 to speak truthfully and lovingly so we grow to our fullness in Christ to God. In 4:16 he tells us that in this way the whole body will grow in love.
I have found that in reading and understanding the scriptures it takes prayer and the Holy Spirit working within me.
I think the most important 2 points in these 4 scriptures is is being strong in Gods word and in order to do that I can't just read words I have to pray and think about what is being said .
I've found that if I do this I don't loose the meaning or intent of his word. I believe
that our love for one another is stressed is because it is so easy to offend one another
without meaning to and God is telling us that love can over come those feelings.

In Ephesians 4:17-24 Paul tells us that as new people in Christ, we must put away the old person, and learn to walk in His path.
All of us say to ourselves I am a good person , I don't drink to excess, I don't steal, I don't hurt others, I don't sleep
around,. But these are big things and very good advise, do you get angry and hold a grudge, do you have pride in
possessions, do you strive for more and more toys of this world? and shut out God.
God said He would supply all our needs, He didn't say He would give us palaces or unlimited
toys, so as adults we must put away childish behavior and learn to walk hand and hand with Christ in holiness and truth that we can fulfill Gods
divine plan for us.
God has been very good to me He has given me a comfortable home, not fancy, plenty
of food, a nice car, not new, and an income that supplies my needs, and friends that help out in times of trouble or just because they want to.
I love to quilt, I give away all my quilts, because I couldn't afford to buy the mat I needed God sent a friend that buys storage lockers, to ask if I could use
cotton shirts and mat for quilts, of course I said yes,( be careful what you ask for,) lol I now have more mat than you could imagine.
God has given me all these things to use in His glory. All things God gives to us are on loan from Him. All we have and all we are belong to God and we must not forget to take care of them and thank Him every day for them. So all our striving for things to keep up with our
neighbors or our pride in what we achieve or do is a fleeting thing that God can
allow to be taken away at any time. The only thing that is steadfast is His unconditional
love and forgiveness of our sins through Jesus Christ our savior.

In Ephesians 4: 25-27 Paul tells us how we should behave toward our brothers and sisters in Christ, that we should speak truth to one another because we all children in Christ, that it's alright to become angry with each other but not to let the sun go down on that anger ,and not to give the devil an
opportunity to come in.
In Ephesians 4: 28 Paul tells us "let him who steals steal no longer". Now there are many ways of stealing,
gossip steals your good name, credit fraud, taking something and using it without permission.
Their are to many ways to list you will know it's wrong by the way you feel, ask
yourself would you like it if someone did this to you?
Paul also said we needed to share what we earn with those in need. This is very important
because ALL we have and ALL we are belongs to God, the more we share the more He seams to give us. Like the
servants the master gave the coins to. One invested his the other put his in a safe place
, when we share we are investing in Gods divine plan and it is returned to us , not always in money, because we
aren't always sharing money, but sharing ourselves and our time and love.
In Ephesians 4 : 28 Paul tells us not to let unwholesome words proceed from our mouths, this not only means not cursing someone or something but tearing someone else down. We need to build up one another, ALL of us sin in this but we always need to
remember how much it hurts, and the rejection that we all have felt The old adage
is very plain here "If you don't have anything good to say keep your mouth shut."
God in his wisdom gave us some very wise sayings we need to pay attention to them.

In Ephesians 4: 30-32 Paul tells us not to grieve the Holy Spirit of God , because we were sealed to Him for the day of redemption. that we need to put away all
bitterness, anger, slander and malice toward one another to be kind to one another forgiving one another just as God in Christ has forgiven us.
Through this whole chapter of Ephesians 4 Paul has tried to tell us the way to walk with our brothers and sisters in Christ, how to treat other people that are not
believers so that might come to God.
I believe that we need to take 1/2 hr or 1 hr each day to renew our faith in the Holy Spirit and ask His
guidance. We have to ask it each and every day so that it stays fresh in our minds . As God said what ever we ask He will grant , and this is one of the things He grants
abundantly,.
It is so easy to get caught up in our busy lives, our lives are so fast paced in this generation, we say I'll do it
tomorrow and tomorrow never comes until something bad happens, as the Jewish people in the wilderness we forget to thank Him for our blessings. I
believe that God allows this to happen to get our attention, just as He did to those people in the wilderness.
MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND THE HOLY SPIRIT BE WITH YOU
