Walk With Christ Devotional - Forgiveness

For many years I have hardened my heart towards my brother, he married a woman who's god was money and he became the same, they are in their late 50's and both are working 2 jobs because they feel they don't have enough money. Their house is paid for and they haven't had children at home for over 20 yrs.
Before my father died my parents made both my brothers administrators of their estate, all three of us girls were very pleased at this, my youngest brother died unexpectedly and we girls felt that my older brother should put one of us on the quick claim deed to the property my parents owned, and he wouldn't do this. After my father died my mother wanted the quick claim deed back, as there were several acres and we could not keep the property up, he refused to give it back to her, so we could sell it. He would not have even given her part of the money if she hadn't threatened him with going to court.
I felt that he stole from my mother, what she and my father had worked all their lives for.
God has led me to 1 John and told me my hard feelings were impeding my spiritual growth and I must forgive him.
1 John tells us that hate is a great sin and that those feelings allow satan to enter in. So I went looking for prayer for my brother, after I asked God to forgive me and take those feelings away. This is the prayer I found. I substituted my brothers name in the prayer.

God Keep You
God keep you, brother all this lonely night:
The winds are still
The moon drops down behind the western hill,
God keep you safely, brother , till the light.
God keep then when slumber melts away,
And cares and strife
Take up new arms to fret our waking life;
God keep you through the battle of the day.
God keep you. nay, beloved soul, how vain,
How poor is prayer,
I can but say, again and yet again,
God keep you every time and everywhere.

I will say this prayer until I know I have forgiven my brother as whole heartedly as God forgives me and then keep on until he comes to our Lord.

MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND KEEP YOU CLOSE IN LOVE.

FAITH IS............

Breathing your native air

" I have come that you may have life, and that you may have it more abundantly."

John 10:10

Faith is the mark of normality.

Faith is the native air to be breathed in and out by human beings.

You were created to be a believer!

Thank you, God, for causing me to be a normal , healthy human being by motivating me to walk the walk of faith. Amen

We have faith that the sun will come up in the morn. how much more faith we will have in God who made the sun and earth and all things in it and on it. And loved us so much that He would sacrifice His only son that we might be saved.

MAY YOU WALK THE WALK WITH OUR FATHER
