Saved?
Saved from what?
Why do people ask me if I'm saved? Saved from what? Who is this Jesus and what do I need saving from?
Let's start with what we're being saved to. Imagine having a friend you can always depend on, always trust, being loved like no other will
ever love you. Having a real relationship with God, the one that created the universe and everything in it. Living, growing, getting to know God
on a daily basis. Being saved is so much more that a rescue from hell. (which it is!)
There is a problem though, God is Holy (without sin) and will not allow sin (un-holiness) in His presence. A simple definition of sin is,
basically an act of un-love. If you really love someone would you sin against them? Using the Ten Commandments as a simple guide, would you lie
to the one you love? Would you steal from them, or even kill them? Would you want to harm them at all? Of course not! Loving someone means
you only want what's best for them. God is no different.
God is Holy, without sin, He wants us to be cleansed of our sins, we cannot go back and erase the sin in our lives, but through God's great
love for us He gave us a way to remove the past sins, to be "Saved From" hell, death and the grave. "TO" be reborn "TO" an eternal life, a
relationship with God, to know true love.
Are you ready to take the first step to be reborn, cleansed of your sins and start your personal relationship with God?
It's very simple, the first step is admitting you are a sinner.
Romans 3:23...For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
Romans 6:23...For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of god is
eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Even though we are sinners there is a way up, if you are willing to repent. God loves us so much he has provided the 'only' way to eternal
life.
I Peter 3:18...For Christ also hath once suffered for sin, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the
flesh, but quickened by the spirit.
John 3: 14-16....And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the son of man be lifted up. That whosoever believeth in
Him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loves the world, that he gave him only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in
him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
You must believe that "Jesus is Lord" and that God raised him from the dead.
Mark 1:15...The time is fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God is at hand, repent ye, and believe the gospel.

Revelations 3:20...Behold I stand at the door and knock, if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come into him and will sup with
him, and he with me.
Romans 10:9....That if thou shalt confess with they mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the
dead thou shalt be saved.
Will you receive Jesus Christ right now?
All you have to do is pray and invite Jesus into your heart.
Pray this prayer... Dear Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and need
your forgiveness, I believe that you died for my sins. I want to turn from my sins, I now invite you to come into my heart and life. I want to
trust and follow you as Lord and savior. In Jesus name, Amen
God's Assurance...if you prayed this prayer.
The Bible says...
Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Ephesians 2: 8,9 ...For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is a gift of God. Not of works, lest any man
should boast.
