Welcome to the 'Christ in Pogo' Fellowship Ministry,...a Group where Pogo playin' Christians
can come for fellowship, prayer, discussions, and get to know
each other as brothers and sisters in Christ, a Church family
for some.
How did this
"mustard seed" get it's start? In a pogo room, in May of 2005
with a conversation about Jesus and a desire to have a place
for pogo players to pray and fellowship together. We took
the "mustard seed" and planted it. Today, Christ In Pogo has
over 2100 members!
It is like
a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his
garden, and it grew, and waxed a great tree, and fowls of
the air lodged in the branches of it. [Luke 13:19]
Our Focus
In 2005 the members of Christ in Pogo dreamed a dream. Out
of those ‘dream’ meetings, and founded on scripture, five
priorities emerged…the same five priorities it ascribes to
today.
In order to fulfill the mission
to bring people to Jesus Christ, develop them to Christ-like
maturity, equip them for ministry, all for the glory of God,
the body of Christ in Pogo commits to:
THE FIVE PRIORITIES
PRAYING
“Every member praying, seeking His power, protection and provision,
pursuing personal holiness, and following His leadership”
Acts 2:42
REACHING
Every member involved in reaching the world with the gospel
message of Jesus Christ, to see people saved and baptized
and to experience people giving their lives to full-time Christian
service through the ministries of Jesus Christ. Acts 2:47
EQUIPPING
Every member equipped to become a mature, successfully through
The Great Commission Christian. Acts 2:42
WORSHIP
Every member glorifying God by learning, experiencing and
living a life of true worship. Acts 2:47
MINISTRY
Every member experiencing the joy of serving God and the Body
of Christ with their spiritual gifts, talents and abilities.
Acts 2:45
God has given us a vision: to take the Gospel message of Jesus
Christ and the world through the members and ministries of
Christ in Pogo.
We have chosen to focus our energies and resources on the
things that are important to God and run to completion, the
race marked out for us.
'Christ In
Pogo' has several outreaches to encourage fellowship among
it's members.
They are:

Meetings - 2 each day excluding Sunday morning held in
our own Prayer & Chat room.
