Thank You Lord
Lord, as I look around me day by day
I see Your hand on earth in every way
You created this beauty so that we could see
That Your love and care will always be
I see the beauty in the grass so green
And smell the
fragrance
on wind unseen
I see the many colors of the flowers
I could sit and watch for many hours
Lord, I thank You for the dogs and cats
The deer, the birds and even the bats
I thank You for the rocky uneven
terrain
I thank You for the sunshine and the rain
Lord, the beauty of Your works abound
In the skies and on the ground
I thank You Lord, for Your creation

Did you see how He bled
When they put the crown upon his head
Do you hear the whip crack
As they whipped Hi back
Can you hear how they mock His name
Everybody laughing, thinking it's a game
See the nails in His hands, do you feel the pain
See how much He suffers, and He would do it again
He did all this because He loves us
His precious name is Jesus
Ignoring His own suffering and pains
He forgives US of our sins
Do you have this kind of love
To God in heaven above
He suffered for us
This special man called Jesus
And I will love Him forever
And try to sin no more, no never
And when I feel sad and blue

Sacrifice
Lord, as you hung there on that cross
Did you say, Dear Father this is such a loss
Did you say Father there has to be another way
So many on this earth will go astray
Dear Lord, as you died there at Calvary
Did you whisper my name and think of me
Did you say, this child is part of the fold
Let's keep her safe and out of the cold
In this sacrifice was so much love
That rained down from the heavens above
Lord, you gave your life for me
So I could be with you for eternity

Use me now, so that all can see
The love that you have come to share

I made you from the dust
So, I could have someone to trust
But, I saw you needed more
That's what I made woman for
L blessed you with a son
Plus two more after this was done
And when Cain raised up against Abel
From My grace you fell
And when I saw the evil in the world
With My mind open and arms unfurled
I brought on the rain
To start all over again
I brought you prophets to hear My word
But again you didn't listen to the Lord
I gave you Ten Commandments to live by
But you didn't even try
I gave you my only Son, to show you the way
But you crucified Him that unfaithful day
But, he rose again after three days
So you may be able to sing His praise
So, I am giving you one more chance
And don’t let Satan put you in his trance
The end is near, there will be no other way
So fall to your knees, for this will be

I see the flowers and the trees
and watch the grass wave in the gentle breeze

My brother

linger with his cancer
But, I
didn't
say "Thank You"
My mother received a heart transplant
But, I
didn't
say "Thank You"
I just got released from prison
But, I
didn't
say "Thank You"
Miracles of the days of yore
Miracles of the days of new
We should Thank Him even more
Thank Him for the precious and the few
Show Him we do know how to care
Praise His name in everything you may do
Open your heart to share
And remember to say "Thank You"
