You Are All I Will Ever Need

Lord, as I go through this life day by day
and the problems and worries start coming my way
Let me always lean on You
for Your love is always true

Lord, I've made so many mistakes
but just one prayer is all it takes
You welcome me home with open arms
You shield me, Lord, from all harms

How can I thank you for this love
that freely flows down from above

she's wondering when this pain will end

as you place people in my heart

Forgiveness

You have asked us to forgive and forget
I am sorry Lord, I can't do that yet
You say we are to love one another
But, how can I trust the one I called brother

I admit I need Your help in this matter
Giving You all my problems on a platter
You say I must learn to trust and care
How can I, as I keep my emotions, afraid to share

I try to the fullest in Your eye
and I try not even to ask why
Do things as they are meant to be
Knowing Your love will set me free

And I pray to You every day
And do as You say
Learning to forgive as it's meant to be
But, how can I forgive the one inside of me

I forgave all the ones that did me wrong
And I put Your praises in a song
I forgave all as it's meant to be
The only one I can't forgive is me

His Love

Who will always be by my side
Jesus, with His arms stretched wide
For His love will never cease
Oh, how I love this man of peace

Just look into His face
You will find love and grace
Look into His eyes
They are perfect and wise

He is so loving and warm
The angels were made in His form
He loved me before I knew Him
Even when things looked hopeless and grim

But, now He lives within me
And I accept things as they are meant to be

True Love

Let the Lord fill my every thought
since on the cross my life he bought
As he leads me step by step
for my sins he has wept

To Him I know I can always go
with all my sorrows and woe
He holds me safely in his hands
as I journey throughout this great land

I am so lucky to have such a wonderful Savior
who is much more than family friend and neighbor
He willingly gave up his life for me
on a hill called Calvary

As I look back upon my life
I see he carried me through every strife
Even through the pain and sorrow
He lets me know there is a tomorrow

Lord, as you hung there on that cross
giving up your life for the tired and lost
did you whisper my name with love and tenderness
as you died so that I could have true forgiveness

I praise You Lord, when times are good
I say, yes Lord, I'll go, I really would
But then You put a burden on my heart
and I say Lord, I can't do my part

I say why Lord, why must it be me
there must be others, surely you can see
I say Lord, I am so small and weak
it must be someone else you seek

Then I hear your voice and I am still
You say my child I'll carry you, I surely will
Lord, give me strength to do this task
It's not that hard, this that you ask

Lord, I thank You for being there
I am so glad that you really care
Lord, without You I can't do anything
But dear Lord, with You I can do everything
